Advanced Animal Imaging Referral Forms

How long will it take for the exam?

A MRI exam can take anywhere between 45 minutes and 2 hours depending on the exam that is ordered and the symptoms of your pet.

A ultrasound exam can take anywhere between 15 minutes to 1 hour depending
on the exam that is ordered and the symptoms of your pet.

A radioiodine I-131 therapy can take a few days because the pet is required to stay in a special isolation ward for a few days after treatment.

When do I drop off my pet and pick them up?

Your pet should be dropped off the morning of your exam. For MRI and Ultrasound your pet can be picked up in the afternoon.
